This is the ‘go to’ destination for long lazy breakfasts and lunches for anyone staying in the Broulee or Batemans Bay area.  This rambling heritage building is fun to explore, with surprises around every corner – comfortable coffee nooks, an art gallery, a garden – with plenty of options for groups big and small. Their style of food is eclectic and brings the best of cuisines from different cultures together on one plate.

The Mossy Café is the vision of food-lover and chef Belinda.  She brings a commitment to quality, sustainability and the traceability of ingredients.  She uses the best quality locally produced and sourced ingredients. Breads are from Artisan Bakeries situated on the Gourmet Coast and all fresh produce (meat, eggs, fish and veg) travel less than 15 minutes from farms to the kitchen. The café makes their cakes, slices, biscuits, preserves, kimchi and even some cheeses and chorizo in-house.

“Lovely location, great staff & service, beautiful food, relaxed atmosphere.” – Susan
