Food lovers agree that a truffle hunt is on their list of ‘Top Ten Things to Do.’ In the shadows of Gulaga Mountain, along the edges of rainforest gullies shrouded in mountain mist and mysteries, a small grove of oak and hazel trees flourish. Saplings planted a decade ago, tended by Fiona and Alan, now yield Gulaga Gold black Perigord truffles.
With the help of truffle dogs, the thrill of the hunt can be yours. Truffle mysteries are revealed and you can sample the rare and splendid umami of our terroir in a curated tasting of delicacies.
Truffles are harvested over a short, seven-week season mid to late winter, so advance bookings are essential. Our 2 ½ hour hunts have a maximum group size of fifteen to ensure the requisite hunt intimacy and satisfaction. Book a hunt or purchase your truffle on our website. If you are looking for something different, try one of the ‘Year Round Mysteries’ also on the website.
