This is the home of the renowned Cobargo Home Made Ice Cream. Store owners Alfred and Jane have been making their ice cream in the Bega Valley since 2007. The secret family recipe includes seasonal flavours made from local fruits, nuts and honey, all gluten free, all with no artificial flavours or colours.
Alfred and Jane’s deli section contains a delicious selection of smallgoods, cheeses, dips, smoked meats and fish, an antipasto selection and olives, most of which are sourced from local and Australian producers. Here you can find locally made cheeses, salami, honey, jams, pickles, chutneys, olive oil (some of which are made in-house).
As the seasons permit, they source fruit and vegetables from local growers. They also stock the essentials year-round.
