Cattlemen of old drove their herds along the stock routes between Cobargo and Bermagui in search of new pasture and would stop at the creek in Coolagolite to breakfast. Breakfast Creek wines now express the unique terroir between the pure country air of Cobargo and the salty sea breezes of Bermagui.
Sustainable farming methods and modest production volumes has ensured vegan and easy-drinking white, rose, light red and fortified wines.
You are welcome to the cellar door to enjoy a Picnic in the Vineyard while listening to local musicians and drinking locally crafted beverages – a ‘sip and graze’ experience for lovers of artisanal local wine, food, nature and history. This ‘taste of south NSW terroir’ is a feast for the senses with generous samplings of Breakfast Creek’s signature wine Chambourcin rosé and a view across the vineyard to Gulaga mountain.
