DAY ONE - PAMBULA
BREAKFAST: Toast Cafe

After breakfast, browse the eclectic shops of the street – from retro goods to art, homewares, clothes and surfboards, Pambula has got its coastal shopping style on. Just around the corner you’ll find Panboola – a wetlands conservation area with easy walking tracks and bike paths where you can spot local flora and fauna.
LUNCH: Broadwater Oysters
A ten-minute drive north takes you to a hidden pearl of the Gourmet Coast and your oyster adventure has begun. Try your hand at shucking with the team at Broadwater Oysters before enjoying a casual ‘tide to table’ lunch on the deck overlooking Pambula Lake.

AFTERNOON SWIM:
The wide blue expanse of the Pambula River is idyllic. Perfect for a SUP board, swim or just a wade along the shore. Perhaps you brought some Broadwater Oysters with you for a treat by the water…
TWILIGHT DRINKS AND DINNER: Longstocking Brewery
Feeling revitalised after your first day at the Gourmet Coast, you’re ready for a fun night out with live music, local brews and woodfired pizza at Longstocking Brewery. Try Longstocking’s impressive array of house-made beers and ciders with a beer paddle and continue your oyster adventure at their Oyster Bar, where you’ll find plump and creamy oysters served natural or in dishes with exciting flavours.

Do you want to relax while someone else does all the driving? We recommend booking Bermi and Beyond to look after you for the whole day.

DAY TWO - EDEN AND MERIMBULA
BRUNCH: Sprout Café
Rise and shine, but not too fast. You’re heading south to Eden to meet Karen Lott – a mover and shaker of the food scene on the Gourmet Coast. Ask her for some foodie tips as she serves up a breakfast starring produce from local farms and gardens. Take a coffee with you as you wander down to see the harbour, home to one of the largest fishing fleets in NSW.

OYSTER FARM TOUR: Wonboyn Rock Oysters
You’ll feel a million miles away as you drive a little further south to Lake Wonboyn. Every oyster has its own taste profile – or merroir – that reflects the taste of the estuary in which it was raised. Here you’ll taste the pristine beauty of Lake Wonboyn, surrounded by national parks. Ken and Caroline will share their 30 years of farming knowledge to help you identify the different taste profiles of oysters and polish your shucking skills – or you can just enjoy the serenity with a glass of wine and a plate of creamy oysters fresh from the lake.

DINNER: My Valentina
After an afternoon siesta, it’s time for a Mediterranean-inspired dinner at the romantically-styled My Valentina. Ideal for a romantic dinner for two or a group of friends, you’ll share platters of vibrant flavours and celebrate into the night.

DAY THREE- MERIMBULA
LONG LUNCH: Wheelers Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar
You’ve had such a great time, you don’t want to leave. Keep feeling the weekend as you step onto the deck at Wheelers for a long seafood lunch and to browse their deli. Soak up the sunny day while the rest of the world is back at work and discover yet another taste of oysters. The airport is close by. Perhaps there’s another flight tomorrow…
