Hero WonboynOysters_022

By the pristine waters of Wonboyn Lake you can find some of the best Sydney Rock Oysters on offer along our coast.  Drop by to visit this rustic oyster shed where you can meet owners Caroline and Ken and sample these creamy and sweet oysters with a mild aftertaste.

Nestled between Nadgee Nature Reserve and Nadgee Wilderness Area to the south with Ben Boyd National Park to the north and the aptly named Disaster Bay to the east, this is the most remote and pristine growing area on the NSW Coastline growing the iconic Sydney Rock Oyster.

Caroline and Kel are passionate about sharing their 30-year journey of farming oysters. They can show you how to open a fresh oyster, explain the various taste profiles you will experience and then the best part, share one to taste.

Take away some freshly harvested oysters, open at your leisure when you get home or while relaxing at your holiday destination with a glass of local wine.
