The Wharf Local established in 2012 by the Benton sisters, exudes rustic charm and epitomises the low-key stylishness that Tathra does so well. Set inside the cargo shed of the historic Tathra Wharf, this café and local art gallery blend seamlessly to create a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The giant wharf store doors roll back to let sunlight stream in and reveal views across the bay to Tathra Beach. Sit back and relax while taking in the spectacular views or do a spot of whale watching.

The Local’s menu is light, delicious, and styled with artistic flair. True to its name, they source many of their ingredients  from local growers and producers with  all their cakes and breads are made locally.
