Dromedary - Hero

The Dromedary Hotel is a Heritage pub in the beautiful, picturesque National Trust village of Central Tilba, located in the foothills of Mount Gulaga. Built in 1895 from the wood of ships that docked at Bermagui harbour, ‘the Drom’ has been the meeting place at the heart of the community for decades.

Today, the Drom retains the charming atmosphere of an old country pub while turning its focus to serving beautifully crafted ‘modern Australian’ food. While the Drom’s broad menu features regular pub staples, its strength is a collection of interesting dishes which celebrate the best of local and regional producers and suppliers, such as Narooma-caught blue-eye trevalla, calamari dusted in Mystery Bay chilli-infused kelp and their own house-smoked kangaroo fillet.

In the bar you’ll find Drom gins infused in-house, including a delicate citrus-flavoured gin made with a Buddha’s Hand fruit and a rhubarb gin made using locally grown organic rhubarb.   They also serve cold craft beer and an extensive wine list of high quality, well-priced wine with an emphasis on NSW and Australian producers.
