Named by Captain James Cook in 1770, here you can discover the peaceful waters of the Clyde River, where houseboats offer a unique way to experience the beauty of our aquatic paradise. Swim, kayak, or paddle a SUP to your heart’s content, and don’t forget to sample delicious local produce along the way. 

For an underwater adventure, head to Surf Beach and explore the Batemans Bay Snorkelling Trail, where crystal-clear waters reveal a vibrant underwater world teeming with marine life. Finish your day with a picnic at Burrewurra Point or take a walk to see the WWII bunker – the perfect way to end a day of exploration and discovery.
